Account and sign-up
Is Matchy Matchy free?
Yes. Signing up, likes, matches, messages and activities are free.
How do I sign up?
With your email, your phone number or your Google account. Three questions, your photos and your city, and you are in.
Do I need to be 18?
Yes, Matchy Matchy is for adults only. Age is checked during verification.
How do I delete my account?
From the app, in Settings, or from the "Delete my account" page on this site. Your data is erased.
Profiles and matches
How does a match work?
When two people like each other, it's a match: the conversation opens for both of you.
What is a super like?
A stronger like: the person sees you really want to meet them.
How do I get the blue badge?
In your profile, tap "Verify my profile" and send a selfie and a photo of your ID. A team member reviews it, then the badge appears on your profile.
Can I video call someone?
Yes, from the conversation, if you have matched and you are both verified.
Activities
What time does Blind date open?
Every evening from 9 to 11 pm, Tunisia time. Special dates may open earlier.
Is the Surprise video blurred?
Yes. The picture only turns sharp when you both press "Show". You can move on to the next person at any time.
Are my This or that answers visible?
No. Others only see your compatibility percentage.
What is a question-of-the-day streak?
The number of days in a row you answered the question of the day. Answer every day to keep it.
Safety and privacy
Who sees my ID?
Only the verification team. It is never shown or shared.
How do I report someone?
Tap the flag or "Report" on their profile, in the conversation, the room or the call. The person is blocked for you.
Is my phone number visible?
No. Your email and phone number are never shown to other members.
The app
Is there an Android app?
It is coming to Google Play. Meanwhile, install the web version on your home screen: it works like an app, with notifications.
What about iPhone?
Open the app in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen".
Can I use it on a computer?
Yes, with a layout made for big screens: conversations and chat side by side, the full profile next to the cards.
Which languages?
French, Arabic and English. Switch language in settings.
